You might be rolling the clay a little too thinly. Try rolling the clay a little thicker for more depth!

Warm the clay up in your hands for a couple minutes before rolling. Do NOT microwave, heat in a pan/oven, etc.

Option 1: take a pen tip or sharpened pencil and draw into the wet clay before baking.

Option 2:You can also use paint or a permanent marker after baking and cooling.

Use paint or a permanent marker to color in your pet’s pawprint once its baked and cooled.

Reroll any scrap clay to make another smaller ornament, with or without a pawprint!
